Almere As Only Municipality to See a Rise in Number of Burglaries in Flevoland

Based on Crime in Map figures published by Politie.nl, Locksmith Amsterdam 365 commissioned a survey of all burglaries in 2018 in the province of Flevoland.

In this article, we show you the burglary rates of 2018 and the burglary rates compared to 2017. We show in which municipality in Flevoland is more likely to have burglaries compared to other municipalities and in which municipality the burglary rate has decreased the most.

What stands out in the survey in municipality of Flevoland:

• Municipality of Zeewolde has a 40% decrease in burglaries.
• Municipality of Almere is the only municipality with an increase in burglaries.
• The municipality of Almere has both absolutely and relatively the most burglaries in Flevoland.
• There are proportionally 2.5 times as many burglaries in Zeewolde as in Urk.
