Stichting Kwaliteit Gevelbouw (SKG) is an organization that tests, inspects and ultimately certifies hardware for the housing industry with a star rating.
Hardware includes all products used to hang, open, secure, close and lock windows and doors.
Manufacturers of hardware have their locks tested, certified and approved by SKG. All locks are tested on standard quality windows and doors. Locks are retested over time to see if they still meet requirements. In fact, burglars are inventing more and more ways to get in even faster.
