Extreme Decrease In Number Of Burglaries In Drenthe In 2018
Based on the figures from Crime in Map published by Politie.nl, Locksmith Amsterdam 365 commissioned a survey of all burglaries in 2018 in the province of Drenthe.
Interestingly, in all municipalities in the province of Drenthe, the number of burglaries decreased in 2018. And by huge percentages. The lowest drop is 43%.
What else stands out in the survey in municipality of Drenthe:
- In Meppel municipality, the number of burglaries fell by almost 70%.
- Even in the largest municipality (Emmen), the number of burglaries fell by 50%.
- Westerveld, as the smallest municipality, also has the smallest decrease in burglaries (43%).
- Virtually all of Drenthe’s municipalities are well below the national average of burglaries per 10,000 residents.
